Your day-to-day with us

The Technical Customer Support Representative will be responsible for working within a global team as a first line of support that focuses on troubleshooting and resolving both software and hardware technical issues across the spectrum of Gestal and Jyga Technology products.

As a Technical Customer Support Representative, your primary responsibilities will be asked to:

  • Provide fast, efficient, and professional customer support via phone, chat, and email for all Gestal & Jyga products.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to feeding equipment in swine farms.
  • Diagnose basic electrical, mechanical, and software-related incidents occurring during installation, start-up, maintenance, and repair.
  • Assist clients in using Gestal & Jyga feeding systems and software applications.
  • Log and prioritize customer requests using our internal ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex technical cases to specialized IT or engineering teams when necessary.
  • Provide remote and occasional on-site support, including farm visits for installations, troubleshooting, and training.
  • Attend weekly online technical support meetings with Jyga technicians (evening sessions, once per week or as required).

Your background

πŸ”Ή Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in animal science, Agricultural Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in swine farm management, animal husbandry, or agricultural technology.

πŸ”Ή Technical Skills

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and software applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Experience working in farming, agricultural technology, or technical environments.

  • Fluent in English (spoken & written) – Required.
  • Additional languages (a plus): Mandarin or Vietnamese.

  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills (can explain technical concepts to non-technical users).
  • Self-motivated & independent, able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Team player, detail-oriented, and well-organized.

Working Conditions:

  • Work schedule: 40 hours/week (5 days per week, 8-hour shifts).
  • On-call availability for urgent support.
  • Ability to work in swine farm environments, including barns and outdoor areas.

✈ Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional travel to swine farms for start-ups, troubleshooting, and training.
  • Some overnight stays may be required.
